I see the same error but however my screen works fine.
The only problem i have sometimes is the Low Graphics Mode, which goes away on
restarting most of the times.
The main problem happens when it does not go away i.e until i completely remove
my amd proprietary drivers. The error come back as so
just happened to me on trusty and the apport retracer duped my report to
this ticket. I don't have any information how to trigger this bug, but
for me it also happened on the next login after I did a general package
update.

This bug doesn't affect me anymore. It appeared after an update (but I'm
on Saucy dev branch anyway) and also disappeared with an update ~2 weeks
later.
