In xubuntu 11.10 up to date as of 26/06/2011, when opening a x-based window for
the first time the x-server quits.
This is reproducible at least with the plot command from ngspice following the
instruccions from the user manual "20.1 AC coupled transistor amplifier" in the

Software xubuntu 11.10 updated as of 26/06/2011.
Hardware Amd64 turion X2 with Radeon HD3200 graphics.
Problem description:
The Xorg process starts using 100% of cpu randomly.
When this happens the system still works fine except that virtual terminal
switching is not possible
