nZain, thanks a lot! Works perfectly, and I even have the same monitor
dimensions, so even copy/paste of the sample "execute" line works for
me. I'll put it in startup as I hardly ever transport this laptop.
Such a fix as you did would be SO easy to incorporate into X... but I
suppose it will take
Problem also occurs on my Toshiba Satellite U405, with Intel GMA X3100
graphics: mouse moving into the "dead space" above the top menu bar on
the laptop monitor.
Is there any estimate how or when it might be resolved? I suspect it
affects any person who uses dual monitors with a laptop, since gene
