I agree that the memory leak should be resolved, but I am astonished of the
speed that things are going. This bug strikes more than 1 year when 9.10 is
released and I don't see anything but some community patches that just produce
memory leaks.
It's really becoming a matter of the image of Ubunt
Applied the patch worked great besides some minor glitches, but after
7-8 hours of standby I discovered it was producing a memory leak.

I have a ATI 3450 HD. The patched worked just fine, but yesterday updated
karmic packages and now I just get a flashing white screen on booting Ubuntu.
Begining to lose my temper in this situation. AMD drivers in linux are really a
paine in the a**.
Also in the short time everything was suppose
This bug persists since forever. I've installed ubuntu from todays daily
live build. Same issue. Something must be done. It's annoying.

I cant attach Xorg.0.log as the system is unusable and I have to force restart
it. Any tips?
