just another bit of info...even though the previous comments really
cover the problem pretty well...i have same problem and i don't think it
hardware related...i installed ubuntu 12.04.1 about one month ago and
find it can freeze up at random times and it happens both when you are
using the system

Looking to pick up support for the Intel GMA 3150 video chip set which
is prevalent in most newer Atom-based netbooks. Maverick currently
contains 2.09, and support for GMA 3150 starts with 2.10.
