This affects me as well. (Nvidia 7300 LE) When booting into "ubuntu classic (no effects)" and then enabling compiz with `compiz --replace` it causes the same problem. Killing compiz unfreezes it. Disabling the compiz 'OpenGL plugin' (pretty essential), also prevents the freeze. -- You received
