I tried the version 1.1 and didn't fix anything at all. Instead I found
out this workaround http://askubuntu.com/questions/129656/how-do-i
-downgrading-nvidia-drivers-in-12-04 and with version 290.10 up to now
almost two days, never happened before, seems to work well. The
downgrading is not a solu
Changed Nvidia driver version from 302.17 to 295.40 the problem keeps
going on and on and on... Please could you do something to solve it.

This bug effects me too. Suddenly after some activity hours screen turns black
and then restarts to log in out of my session.
My Nvidia driver version is 302.17.
