Hi,
after asking a question
(https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/203128) I was suggested
to open a Bug report.
The problem is basically that the keyboard of my laptop (HP Pavilion
dv2530el, 5.5 years old) is not answering (like frozen) for about 20
seconds at star
I currently do not have linux installed on my macbook. I did however try
with the natty live cd. The problem appears to have been partially
solved, but let me elaborate:
- Hardware is the same as with my original setup (Same Macbook, same external
display)
- Software is different: Previously I us

I installed all available updates for Ubuntu 9.10 on my MacBook 2,1
today. After a reboot, the login screen was garbled (see attached
