Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xorg
On top of server edition I installed package gnome-core. After issuing "service
gdm start" login screen does not start, just blank screen.
If I create file /etc/X11/xorg.conf with text:
## /etc/X11/xorg.conf ##
###
Section "Monitor"
As suggested I installed generic kernel and I think the problem is much
less frequent, but if I quickly move from one time frame to another I
still manage to crash X server.
How come that the server kernel worked with 8.10 without any problem.
