I have a QX 410 running ubuntu 11.04 and the trackpad issue is as
follows. The Elantec Trackpad or "Magicpad" is misdetected as a generic
ps2 mouse so scroll functions aer not available also Trackpad doesn't
disable while typing! I hav also tried installing the new Ubuntu 11.10
and the problem is
Maverick is currently on fglrx 2:8.780-0ubuntu2 / Catalyst 10.10.
I installed 2:8.801-0ubuntu1~xup~maverick / Catalyst 10.12 through
ubuntu-x-swat (https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat/+archive/x-updates).
I can confirm that I am no longer experiencing the issue under 8.801 /
Catalyst 10.12.

Title:
Xorg fails to start with fglrx in mult-monitor mode with right-rotated
monitor
_
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: fglrx
I have two displays, both 1680x1050, with display 2 on the right and rotated
"right" (90 degrees). Total desktop area 2730x 1680.
Card is Radeon HD 4600.
If I enable fglrx, everything is fine.
If I then set "Multi-Display" for Display 2 in Catalys
I am still experiencing the same problem with xserver 1.9 and fglrx
2:8.780-0ubuntu1. I don't think the fix worked, or at least not for
everyone.
