You received this bug notification because you are a member of
exactly the same issue as for Ben Echols on a Debian system with recent
nvidia drivers. Initially I suspected some racing within systemd, thus
filed (and later closed for now) https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=945158 which has supporting documentation. Did
not find a workaround ye
Public bug reported:
On system with several X screens on same server, e.g. several GPU cards that
doesn't support functions similar to TwinView or BaseMosaic of NVIDIA, evdev

For example if on server :0 there are two displays connected to one
It is still a problem, partially. It is possible to use coordinate
transformation matrix property (TransformationMatrix option in
InputClass section) to assign touchscreens to different displays, but
not to different X screens. But, unless system is SLI , or , or Mosaic
enabled - that is , it is su

This blue tint / blue overlay was driving me crazy. Tried all offered
solutions - none helped. Finally I found out that it is my new Dell
U3014 monitor that is causing this trouble. It has very nice feature
called "Smart Video Enhance". Turned it off.

Looks I'm getting same eefect with newest releases of Ubuntu and evdev drivers

Simply, using transformation matrix with evdev driver wich inverts, scales or

I have upgraded xorg server quite a while ago and it had not resolved
the issue at that time. Just for the completness:

ok -- downgrade to xserver-xorg-input-synaptics 1.5.99.902-1 (debian
package) built with -O0 -- no crashes within a week -- so I guess it is
indeed synaptics to blame. If I find a chance I will "upgrade" to 1.6.0
and see if crash comes back... I would hate to do such silly bisection
but I guess it

I can confirm that xorg is causing high CPU usage after resuming from
suspend. I have Linuxmint 12 KDE. I resumed my computer and the CPU
usage stayed steady at 25%. I opened system monitor and Xorg was the
only process consuming that bandwidth. I have not modified any of my
Xorg settings.
