This bug still exists along with other issues related to AVRs connected
to Ubuntu. I'm afraid that I don't want to risk breakage by using a
developmental release. I'll be happy to test matters when a new stable
comes out.
That said, has there been anything added/modified in the developmental

I'm also not sure why you are marking this as "incomplete" when it has
already been confirmed along with pertinent logs. Random housecleaning?
The joys of open source?

Public bug reported:
I have a Denon AVR through which my Kubuntu 13.10 box connects to my TV.
All works well until I decide to switch off my AVR (while leaving
Kubuntu on). When I switch it back on, I get nothing on my display.
Looking at the logs reveals this:

Thanks Karl. I can now log into karmic as well by adding the Module
section as per your xorg.conf to my existing xorg.conf. I can however
still not log in directly. I need to select "console login" and login
via the console using startx. Attempting to log out using KDE also

Bartosz,
I'd previously tried the Jaunty kernel to no effect. However, I
noticed that there were a bunch of updates for Xorg via apt which I've
upgraded to and then tried again. There was also a new minor kernel
release which I've also installed.

I believe that the 12KB difference in #13 is because I booted the system
without the monitor switched on.

[KM400]Openchrome driver not working after Karmic upgrade
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/
Bartosz: The Xorg.0.log file when I was using svn713? That error seems
to be present in all log files.
That said, if this driver was working in Jaunty for me, shouldn't
reverting to 713 fix the issue? Is the error elsewhere, perhaps?
Many thanks for looking into this.

Raphael, I added your PPA and upgraded to your build of openchrome. No
luck :( I still can't get past the login screen and the loading window.
