Go ahead and close it, Bryce. I can't verify the bug anymore, as the
backlit keyboard this bug originally messed up is long gone.
However: Your comments mention other reasons to close the bug. Still,
the original bug (not the comments' bugs) remains, as far as I am able
to tell.

I've tried testing in Karmic, but X keeps hanging after a few seconds.
I've got an Intel 865GM.
