Tested with Ubuntu Karmic Koala Beta, booted of a live CD on 2009-10-08. Mouse movement clipping and other screen anomalies seem corrected, and everything seems smooth. There is another different problem that happened after I rearranged the screens a couple times and re-enabled Compiz: the framebuf
