My system with the same problem has "CN700/P4M800 Pro/P4M800 CE/VN800 Graphics [S3 UniChrome Pro]" as the onboard display adaptor on an Asrock 775VM800 motherboard. Worked fine in 12.04 but after upgrade to 12.10 I get a brief flash of the splash screen followed by no video and no keyboard. Remot
