My Panasonic CF-AX2 folds back to become a tablet, in Windows, the default
action is to rotate the screen/disable the keyboard and trackpad but in

in my case removing ~/.config/monitors.xml and reconfiguring the
displays solved the problem.

I had the same problem - in ubuntu-tweak-tool i deactivated the blur
effects and dash and the "alt-tab" worked fine after that

chromium.

I can also restart lightdm from vt and I've tried with older kernels (like
linux-image-3.5.0-21-generic) but no luck.
It crash every 1-3 h
I'm having the same problem on a ThinkPad T420 Type 4180-A22 running
Ubuntu 12.10 64 bit.
I don't, however, get these errors when I'm running KDE instead of
Gnome.

I'm running Kubuntu 12.10 and this bug continues to affect me with 13.1,
using .deb packages I built automatically from their 13.1 installer.
It looks like this is just as ‘fixed’ as their ‘Konsole resize causes X
crash’ bug.

I forgot to add, that I was unable to test install Ubuntu 13.04 with the
CD burned from 17.11.2012 and not with one from 08.01.2013. They either
freeze before or directly after the selection screen regarding the
prerequisites.

It _seems_ to be a hardware related bug. Either the harddisk or the disk
controller which causes these mysterious problems.
