I downgraded to 10.4.2 as soon as someone start working on this I'm
ready to upgrade again...

Ubuntu 11.4 -> Synaptics touchpad left c
Seems to be related to module 'sony_laptop' after blacklisting it (see
below) the problem is not showing up any longer.

How to blacklist:
sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
append the following line
"balcklist sony_laptop"
save, exit and reboot. Module should not appear in the load
Now the situation is worsening... the touchpad loses the sync
