- i915.modeset=1 fixes KMS, kernel log clean, no problems
- X.org intel driver automatically disables DRI, (WW) me about i845/855
hardware. How do I persuade him to play it risky? (Quite a lot of DRI
things were stable in karmic.)

Happens with lucid default kernel 2.6.32-21-generic, need to start
failsafeX there.
Using old karmic default kernel 2.6.31-20-generic, X starts but refrains
using DRI which it did on karmic.
Might be due to kernel module i915?
