Hi. It's probably me, but I can't find this proposed package. apt list
--upgradeable lists only libxkbcommon0/bionic-proposed, but I can't
install even that with apt install libxkbcommon0/bionic-proposed. It
says the release 'bionic-proposed' doesn't exist for this package. The
package libxkbcommon
@Kovács Viktor, this report is not only about "original" problem, but
all the problems affected by current implementation. I described other
one with modifier for national characters, once you define such key you
cannot use it as shortcut modifier.

and 18.04 apt-get says that they are in conflict.
The package is a dependency for libegl1-mesa-dev, which I need to have

reboot.
Installation with files from AMD website.

Kabini Athlon 5350 with Radeon R3/HD 8400
Ubuntu 14.04 all updated
Catalyst 14.12 Omega (1 version earlier was affected too)
It is a nightmare...

No crashes with a patch. The way I could reproduce the bug is described

I am attaching gdb backtrace. The bug is somehow reproducible on my machine.
Steps below sometimes makes x crash:
1. Start on battery
2. After login open
-evolution
-firefox (saved 10 tabs)
-empathy
-sometimes additionaly modify networking settings in nm (clicking modify
crashes X)
3. In
Again - computer froze while copying large file via Gigabit ethernet
(most of the memory was used by buffers).
Meaby the key to all this is no swap on my machine? Will try to do more
test with swap enabled.
