Tested succesfully xserver-xorg-video-intel from xenial proposed on an
Inspiron 14 3000 series laptop.
Installed 2:2.99.917+git20160325-1ubuntu1.1, restarted system, tested
from lock, then suspend and finally lock again, cursor returned
everytime.

I am running Xenial on an Inspiron 14 laptop with Intel video.
As per requested in the xubuntu-users mailing list, I installed the
xserver-xorg-video-intel deb from the yaketti packages, both:
* Test that following a return from suspend and logging that the cursor is
visible.
* Test that followi
I've tested it on Jaunty, but the problem is still there, I got
vertical colored lines on screen just before rebooting :(.
I added the PPA repositories and made an update:
$ aptitude show nvidia-glx-180
