Still nouveau drivers are not working properly for this graphics card.
Though for some reason on Fedora 14 its working perfectly. For others
with an x505 I responded to a posted thread there on how to do a basic
install on this laptop. Reply there if you want more info on getting
bleeding edge pack
You dont need to go into recovery mode to do that just add nomodeset to
the Kernel your trying to boot.
