ubuntu 12.04 completely freezes frequently.
I'm also using two monitors on the Intel i7 desktop that's freezing, AND on the
AMD system that's NOT freezing. I'm not using any other monitor on the laptop,

After downgrading my nvidia driver the issue seems to be disappeared. (I don't
really understand the interdependencies of the packages but I removed the
nvidia-current package and installed nvidia-glx-173; I guess my driver will not
be automatically updated.)
