After upgrade from ubuntu 21.04 to ubuntu 21.10 I am seeing black screen
in wayland session and screen corruption in Xorg session

issue can be reproduced when notebook is returning from sleep - black screen
with white flashes.
was able to press Ctrl-Alt-F2 + Ctrl+Alt-Del - it restarted successfully,
however no errors seen in kernel logs - besides below:
ERROR: apport (pid 16076) Sat Oct 16 17:46:05 2021: host pid 3575 cras
resolved by removing iommu=soft option which was preserved from workaround of
bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1921995
now kernel boots fine and wayland session and amdgpu works fine

I also tried nomodeset workaround in Maverick and it did not help me,
still rendering incorrectly

Stephen, substitution of google earth libGL.so.1 does not resolve any 3d
issues in google earth, it just helps tu run it as of version 5.2

This also affects me , Google Earth incorrect rendering.
I have the same video adapter (Xpress 200M), 64-bit ubuntu.
THe problem is the same with ubuntu 9.10 and 10.04

Tested with Radeon XPRESS 200M - when in DRI2 mode, with KMS, Google earth
have visual problems
without KMS, displays correctly
