This is still in 14.04 an issue. Very annoying when coming from the
almost perfect OS X.

Today scrolling works better (I havn't touched apt/dpkg since
yesterday). But sometimes it triggers a press on the Alt button and
shows the HUD. Quickly scrolling up and down continuously confirms the
bug. It shows and hide the HUD and sometimes enter the menus. You can

Yesterday I finally had time to test what's currently in precise-
proposed, but now the two-finger-scroll is almost unusable. The same
gesture both scroll up and down in Google Chrome. Sometimes it's
extremely sensitive too, which makes it hard just figuring whether it's
scrolling up or down.

Public bug reported:
Setting "Synaptic Finger" sensitivity using "xinput set-prop" [1] works
very well for single touch, but the second finger is still very
sensitive and will cause Ubuntu to start scrolling even when second
finger is hovering a few millimeters. No matter which level is set, the

Just tried the new proposed update. The cursor now moves after S3 but
it's also trying to scroll while moving the cursor. The rmmod/modprobe

Just noticed on my Xinerama workstation that when logging out from user
session into login session, all non-primary screens are black. And this
"scambling" seems to be taking place during night when all monitors are
turned off (by screensaver or whatever used in login session).

Since this is a production workstation, I can not run Alpha nor Beta
releases. But is there any way to "backport" the Precise lightdm version
to Oneiric, I'd be happy to try it out.
I wrote a report just a few comments above my screenshot. What else can

I finally got a screenshot!
On the third screen you can see almost my complete first screen desktop.
And on the fourth screen you can see an "ajax-loader.gif" with all it's
animation frames. Is this coming from arbitrary graphics memory? It
sounds more and more like a big security issue.
