Affects me too.
Using Xubuntu. Graphics very slow on something as simple as the moving
balls on the google search page.
I'm admittedly using an old machine (Dell Latitude D400) but some simple
graphics operations are far far slower on 14.10 than with 14.04 or 12.04

I am no longer experiencing any screen corruption, either at the desktop
or the launcher. So this bug appears to be fixed for me. I also
changed to running the Nvidia Version-Current drivers (not the post-
release driver). Not sure if this is part of the fix but everything
looks good now.

Agreed. if I cannot suspend and resume quickly and cleanly, things are pretty
much unworkable. Back to Natty.
Can't comment on whether the bug is invalid or not, but it is certainly
unacceptable.

Happened always when maximize windows with option "Keep previews of

didn't see that previewing minimized windows works (Ubuntu 11.04 and

He is right you know. Its absurd than anyone could press those buttons
accidentally.
If you would be to press them "accidentally" theres a bigger problem at
hand
I have tested Karmic on the same hardware and still nothing :/

@Alexander
It is entirely possible, but there is no way for me to find out, since firefox
will crash a lot sooner without the patch. So if any one of you doesn't get
this kind of behaviour, please just ignore my comment as it probably isn't
related to this bug, but if you have a little time try
I've had the same problem and the patch works so far, however it seems, that it
also introduced a new bug.
It occurs under the same conditions as the bug that is now fixed.
So when trying to reproduce it I opened a lot (200+) tabs from Digg an Youtube
and at some point a tab openes in an Untitled
