I have the same problem with Ubuntu Lucid Lynx Beta2 , after the first
charge the screen goes black and i can do nothing

Ok i've tried also the chase douglas's kernel patch , disabling the
pci=nomsi option it works perfectly!

Ok i've found , how i can modify my boot option:
-I've modified the file in /etc/default/Grub , at the line i've wrote
"pci=nomsi", GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash pci=nomsi"
everything gone ok! , t
