System is not running stable, it crashes (freezes) sooner or later.
Sometimes with virtual console on screen, saying
“not syncing: fatal exception in interrupt
drm_kms_helper:: panic occurred, switching back to text console”

I have the same issue here (i5-2500K). With all 3.2 kernel versions. But
with mainline kernel 3.4rc1 i do not have the issue. Never. With 3.4rc2
it is back.

Can be closed. Problem seems to be gone under Kubuntu as well as under
Ubuntu (which is also installed now).

Thank you. - I will try this with sshing to collect the information when the
system in complete dead next days.
It's clear that there is something wrong with i915 (see dmesg).
Regular Ubuntu is no option for me.

System ends up with login prompt in text mode.
