seems to be permanent. Chosing safe mode to operate also not possible.

The bug occurs at 10:00am CET. The screen freezes with a dust-like appearance
on top of the windows (blue on dark windows, yellow on white ones), the mouse
and the keyboard become unresponsive. In particular:
* Ctrl-Alt-F6 does not switch consoles
* Num Lock Caps Lock don't
