According to the Nvidia web site, the Geforce 820M GPU requires driver
version 430. But you have driver 460 installed which does not support
the Geforce 820M GPU:

Can you please try logging into Xorg instead? It's the option on the
login screen titled "Ubuntu" instead of "Ubuntu on Wayland".
