The Display continuously flickers when we are using the Displayport connection
with QHD (2560x1440) Benq-Monitors.
The affected Hardware is:
Igel UD3-LX 60 (AMD Ryzen Embedded R1505G with Radeon Vega Gfx)
Using a DP to HDMI-Adapter solves the problem wit
XFCE has the same result.
I'm able to reproduce this issue on XFCE.

Xorg actually doesn't have support for synchronizing multiple screens
very well. The compositor can only paint all screens at once, and then
the Xorg drivers have to output their areas at separate times later.
The 'modeset' Xorg driver will just sync to one and tear on the others.

Actually this is not the version that freezes the boot. With a clean
install both of groovy and focal I can use the computer with no problem.
The bug appears after installing the prompted updates at first login.

I downloaded Kubuntu daily build for 2021-04-09 and put the iso on a thumb drive
I am using the 'safe graphics' option needed by my system.
The on screen display of the initial file check process, with option to
skip, still doesn't show.
A splash screen eventually shows and flickers a few times b
I can confirm the fix works.
Tested daily ISO Kubuntu Hirsute ISO 20210409 with VirtualBox and no
errors.
