While using Ubuntu 19.10 with either MATE or GNOME, I can use only
1920x1080 resolution instead of the full 2560x1440. If extra pixels are
configured, they fall off the right side or bottom of the display and
are not visible. Reproduced on Raspberry Pi 4 with 3GB max workar

I had to disable Wayland in GDM3 in order to be able to login.
I guess an udev rule to disable Wayland for GMA500 is all that is needed.

I exactly once got a GPU HANG. Wasn't able to fetch the logs though and
did not get one again:

I've got massive problems with GUI on my PC.
The attached logs are from the following setting:
- high disk load (f3write)
- kernel 4.15.0-1050-oem (the only 4x kernel available in eoan)
- no swap available
These are the parameters (disk load, kernel, swap) I am fiddling wit

Guys,
In Ubuntu, there is a huge problem in the way touchscreen works. Only
chrome has correctly implemented the functionalities. All the other
applications have a poor user experience. Maybe you can discuss with
someone from Google and try to replicate that, system-wide. I have a
Huawei Matebook
