You can check /var/crash by:
* Opening "Files", Ctrl+L, type "/var/crash"; or
* In a terminal:
cd /var/crash
ls
If there are any crash files then you will need to be using the terminal

I am using Ubuntu 16.04. After putting my laptop to suspend (lid down),
it does not wake up again. This does not happen when I lock it (windows
key + L) it resumes operation on keypress. This has started happening
around 1 month ago, I am not exactly sure. This is an Asus K501

Well... A wild update appeared. Problem solved. Native Resolution became
available again, and it's working normally. Thanks.

Real native resolution is 1366x768. It worked a week ago seemlessly.
Now, screen is smaller than real size monitor, as you can see on
attached pics.

Asus Zenbook N501VW touchpad is still working when I type the keyboard with
ubuntu 18.04, Gnome (Unity was reset with by some instructions to use
Gnome). It still happens after `xserver-xorg-input-libinput` installation
by recommendations and also changing the value
Seems you loose all the previous changelog history, and removed stuff
without no reason explained in the changelog entry.
