This might be a temporary issue but at least for the last few hours I
got hashsum mismatches for the bionic Packages.xz with mirror.pregi.net
and JP.archive.Ubuntu.com when doing a net install. Only
archive.Ubuntu.com allowed me to proceed. Could be very frustrating
experience

Title:
LLDB.h is missing from liblldb-
How do I do this ? I booted a live stick but libinput-tools isn't there
and there is no way to run tests the good old way when disk-creator
allowed to have a user partition or install software in the live
session. How can I run these tests please without breaking my Trusty ?

the problem is that deborphan lists this package as removable, whereas I
want to keep it:
$ deborphan

libx11-6-dbgsym:amd64
It comes from the fact that libx11-6-dbgsym is in section "libs":
$ dpkg -s libx11-6-dbgsym

Silvio, I gave a try with latest daily Bionic which comes with
libinput10 1.10.3 and the result is exactly the way you describe. My
"laggy" word is not accurate.

Same problem on my ASUS GL703VD.
I tried the 18.04 beta today starting a live session with the suggested boot
option (modprobe.blacklist=nouveau).

I'm sorry for flooding this thread, but I have more experience to share.
After another reboot in "clocksource=jiffies" mode, I saw that 1 OS
second passes in real 0.5 seconds. But the rest of the system was pretty
stable. Keyboard auto-repeat was twice as fast, but did not get
triggered inadverten

To @vanvugt, i was able to print the unicode in a window i coded on X11,
since X11 use libinput, i do not think its an issue with libinput.

from journalctl, where the bug happens (no "clocksource=jiffies" boot
option is used):

nvidia-390 fails to boot graph
hmmm - what if you install gnome-shell (sudo apt install ubuntu-
desktop). Given that budgie uses GNOME components we need to try to
narrow down where the issue is coming from.
I note you are using 32bit - does the issue also occur on the 64bit
Ubuntu ISO / 64bit Ubuntu Budgie ISO?
