just had a lockup watching a youtube video in firefox-esr. i did
something extremely simple, i think it was push the pavucontrol window

Still, it sounds like you're reporting a different problem. This bug is
about the touchpad being laggy (on an older version of libinput).

Graphics corruption

My internal display is not working. The internal display works at boot
and goes black during ubuntu boot. I am able to use the hdmi monitor but

I have found a solution that at least worked for me.
I do not claim that this is the absolute end-solution for this problem and it
would like Timo to have a look on it to confirm that this is the way to go.
As I mentioned above is the guest user working without any problems.

I have an update that might help.
I have 2 laptops, a ASUS and a Lenovo. They both had the issue.
I did a reinstall of Ubuntu 16.04 on the Lenovo keeping the home folder. First
