Since about a week ago, X started locking up randomly (about twice a
day). I don’t know what kind of details are relevant but here are some
observations:
- When it locks up the screen is always garbled.
- The keyboard would initially work, but if I don’t kill X or reboot
rig
The attachment "/boot" seems to be a patch. If it isn't, please remove
the "patch" flag from the attachment, remove the "patch" tag, and if you
are a member of the ~ubuntu-reviewers, unsubscribe the team.

I suppose this not really a mesa bug as it occurs with many packages which I
try to install,
so I'm changing it to dpkg, since that seems to be where symlinks are checked
for size

Installing packages fails because symlinks have a different size than expected.
What works is manually removing the links, but I suppose that dpkg should not
worry about symlinks if they are working.
As this error is summing up, I don't want to manually delete all links,

I mean either you build with xserver-xorg-dev & libxfont1-dev, or
xserver-xorg-dev-hwe-16.04 & libxfont-dev. Can't mix the two. Fix your
pkg to match.
