In ubuntu the taskbar is showing in top left corner by default. But i
just wanted as in window platform. When i get a command from internet
and run them on terminal. it has started an error and my system
performance also get slow.

This happen to me on Ubuntu 16.04.1, on Firefox 50.1.0, running it on CLI
randomly (couldn't find any pattern) crashes with "intel_do_flush_locked
failed: No such file or directory".

I installed a ASUS sound card which said it had GE Force 210 encoding.
After installing card I still had sound. I changed the driver to Nvidia
304.134 as requested by system settings. I then did a apt-get upgrade,
now no sound. Did I do something wrong? Please let me know.

CDROM is seen but no data is seen, changing mounting options does not
help, it only works using VLC under WINE. It worked fine on Ubuntu
16.04. Thank you very much.

This was removed in yakkety, but I'll also remove the HWE build from
xenial, as we don't guarantee people can upgrade from GA to HWE, only
that they can install with HWE and move cleanly forward within the HWE
track.

After some more research, attempting to use VGA+DP+LVDS is not a valid
configuration. The X230 is missing something (TMDS?) to allow this, even
though the chipset allows it.
X should have a handler for this. If I manually attach the extra
display(s) after logging in, it will restore my config of 2

After booting Ubuntu 16.04.1 on an iMac G4 PowerMac6,1 the screen turns
white and then black. `sudo service lightdm restart` or `sudo service
gdm restart` doesn't help. I have to type the password to decrypt the
root filesystem blindly.

Connecting an external monitor using HDMI works fine when booting up on
macOS but not
ran into the same on 16.04. Confirming that installing those python
packages from 17.04 works and gets around the issue.
