That being said, should I replace it? Is there any option to make this system
stable?
The computer often freeze and nothing but a reboot can solve it...

The Login-Screen did not show-up at all. CTRL+ALT+F7 did not react.

systems are booting into dual head (with the SVideo out on head 2),
2128x800 total.
Suspicion confirmed, the "phantom" second head was causing causing
compiz to fail due to the 2128 pixel width exceeding the 2048 pixel
texture
This isn't a LightDM problem, it's either your script is not valid or X
/ your video drivers have changed.
I'd suggest you make your script not abort when xrandr fails.

I'm using Ubuntu 17.04 dev with lxdm 0.5.3-2 and xserver-xorg-core
2:1.18.4-1ubuntu7 and I'm noticing that the reset option of lxdm seems
to can't be disabled anymore and that the resetting makes troubles as
sometimes on logging out of the desktop it causes lxdm to appear with
I can't bisect the problem, because for the two kernels I build, suspend was
broken and the PC didn't wake up from 2nd suspend :-(
I also tried 4.9-rc6 (albeit on an Arch Linux), which shows the same bug.
