This has something to do with the fact that I have a script running in
the background that changes my background image every couple minutes.
When I disable that script, the problem goes away.

Was just clicking around when the screen suddenly when black--went to
the virtual terminal-- after a few seconds lightdm started back up. I
had to login and launch my apps again. It happened a few times already.
Looked at the logs and there's a backtrace in /var/log/Xorg.0.

After the recent kernel upgrade 2.4.0-23 the computer freezes (see the
screenshot) and I'm not able to login neither into a graphic mode nor
the text console.
When I try previous kernel 4.2.0-22 the result is the same even if it
worked before.
When I go to the recovery mode

I am having issues with my displays blanking out and coming back after 2
seconds, quite often.. sometimes a few times in 10 seconds sometimes
once a minute. I only just started using the Intel graphics today,
instead of previously using a radeon card.
