I was thinking the same, until yesterday evening, still got the same
crash while putting some youtube video fullscreen.
I'm wondering if that's not something to do with Chrome sending some GPU
data that the intel card doesn't like. Do you use chrome/chromium as
well?

I don't know about the others, but the last couple of days no crashes
like these. For me it seems the latest (Intel?) updates seem to have

I have the same problem. Mouse flickering on two of my three screens.
I have two video-cards, both ATI HD6770 (Not in cross-fire).
One card is only connected to one monitor, the other is connected with two
monitors.
Only on the vga-card connected with two monitors, the mouse cursor flickers.

I've had this issue on my Samsung laptop with ubuntu 14.04, linux mint 17 and
kali linux. As Kali is a Debian distro, it is not only an Ubuntu issue.
Disabling the touchpad and using only my mouse allows me to avoid any issua,
but I'd like to be able to use my laptop like a laptop.
