I have installed NVIDIA 340.76.
On Nouveau it doesn't happen this way, but Nouveau is a different story.
There I have some sort of artefacts, the system is overall very slow,
and mouse pointer is blinking.

Public bug reported:
Upon opening of the game "War Thunder", there is a crash realted to
outdated intel drivers. The intel drivers on this computer are Intel
Sandybridge Mobile, and it gives error 8111000B. I updated and upgraded,
but there seems to be no difference.

The system freezes after boot at a login screen. The only option to get
it booted is to go to a BIOS settings and modify settings in a way that
an integrated card is used, and the BIOS doesn't report an Optimus Card
to an operating system.
