Hi @cosama,
With your method, I havea flash of the brightness to the value I set, but it
quickly go back to the old value. I have Xorg drivers.
Do you have an idea of what I could do ?
Is there any plan to fix this issue ? It makes linux nearly unusable
with this computer.

Thank you Alberto, but this is not the issue, I have done what you suggested
already. The point is to find a way to provide you with useful logs for
debugging. I am open to your suggestions. Unfortunetaly the last attempt ended
up to an unrespondable system, so no way to get logs there.

attached where when booting with another kernel. With the 3.13.0-35 kernel
where the nvidia drivers are installed I get a black screen a
