Hello,
I had a kernel upgrade yesterday and now, the touchpad is not working. I have
no click at all. Nor left or right. The problem seems linked to the kernel for
me but I don't know. Should I update this bug report or fill in a new report
bug connected to the new kernel?
What is your advise?

Also using 340.24 and Ubuntu 14.04.1. The workaround Miguel mentioned
above, checking the "Force full screen redraws (buffer swap) on repaint"
option in Compiz, resolved the flickering issue for me.

The bug is not fixed in 340.24.
With 14.04.1 desktop 64b and this nvidia driver version the issue is
still there. I checked the "Force full screen redraws (buffer swap) on
repaint" option in compiz and this works for me.
