Confirmed with a 4,2 Macbook Air. Thankfully I have a trackball in hand
most of the time, but this is definitely the biggest drawback I've

To be honest this has been an ongoing problem with Ubuntu and this
machine from 11.10 which was the release installed before 13.04. I'm
