I have something like this. In my case it only happens at my home office, wifi
and/or ethernet. If ethernet is connected the freeze hangs/floods (haven't
checked what actually is happening) the network which will not work until I
unplug ethernet or reboot the laptop.

For me, it's definitely compiz/unity that causes this. I Installed xfce-
desktop and run it fo a few days, no freezes whatsoever. Then I enabled
window decoration, moving windows and the other usual compiz-effect, and
the problems reappered after some hours of use.

Hi,
I am the new maintainer of Jawi keyboard layout support (Jawi is a type
of script that looks like arabic that is commonly used for Malay
language in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia) and we have a problem
with having to repair the keyboard whenever evdev.xml is overridde
I am using Ubuntu 12.10 on a realitively new system (~2 year old,
frankenstein). It seems that Ubuntu stops registering clicks from the mouse
outside of the top bar and the Unity launcher on the side.
Mouse will move fine but cannot click on any window or program outside of the
two system bars.
