Pad Resolution is currently readonly on purpose - your pad is unlikely
to change resolutions at runtime. I admit it would make testing it
easier but right now you need to add an xorg.conf(.d) option for it.
synclient appears to be lacking it altogether, that should be fixed
(patches appreciated)

On my system, fso-deviced is not installed.
What I found that finally worked is changing xorg.conf, adding the line
Option "dpms" "false"
in the "Server Flags" section, and removing the
Option "DPMS"

pre-i915-chipsets should work with Mesa 9.0 but their seems to be a bug

Problem began playing a dvd with xbmc on dual screen setup. Everything
was fine, until I moved the mouse trying to get to the playback
controls. Then picture froze and after every few seconds the screens

After the update of kernel 3.5.0-18 was issued adn I rebooted, my
installation didnt work as nvidia.ko was not build
I needed to install the headers manually and then it was "ok" though
compiz acted unstable in the first minute.

Btw, the tablet is an old HP TC1100.

I also have a tablet (for testing) that I dabble with using Ubuntu
(usually betas then stable releases). This is also showing a similar
problem but this time, the screen is not black but shows only the
wallpaper after logon. I have tried the latest 3.7 rc2 kernel and the
screen goes
I have the problem on a Dell Inspiron 1501: no plymouth splash on boot,
everything okay when shutting down. But: I have a radeon graphics card,
not nvidia...

I'm on quantal with amd 12.11-beta on a Lenovo G770 laptop with Radeon
6770 drivers and Intel 3000 integrated.
On the discreet radeon card, when disabling the power play option it
goes from 400+ fps tp 25fps using fgl_glxgears and compiz is moving slow
as hell.
