Connected my Lenovo T410s to a 1080p TV via its Displayport output,
through a DP->HDMI dongle and to the TV's HDMI input. First I got a
black screen on both the internal LCD and the TV; after a reboot both
outputs lit up, and the TV worked at 1920x1080. However it looked lik

Seems to only affect my machine running xp sp3. Doesn't not occur on
vista sp2 running vmware 4.0.4

After experimenting with a reproducer from Kees Cook, I was unable to
reproduce this issue with the X server in either oneiric or natty. I'm
going to close the tasks for those releases. Thanks!

Multiple Displays not working on Core i7
Well, for me xorg-edgers version just segfaults with ati's proprietary
driver... :/ Or ati's driver crashes, I don't know. Either way, no help
for me (tried 12.4 version of catalyst too).

This poblem to me is solved buying a ati video card. The slow of nvidia to
give a solution to this problem plus the support of nvidia no linux no
resolve my problems is the first factor to do this.

I had the problem with the complete freeze (no mouse, keyboard, etc).

2. Would it work to just blacklist the drm-intel module?
