I'm testing the new clickpad support from ppa:chasedouglas/clickpad on a
MacBook Air 4,1 with a bcm5974 touchpad. When I have the touchpad
pressed down with one finger in the "right button area" of the touchpad,
placing a second finger on the touchpad causes the mouse pointer

- unity locks up and hard reboot is necessary
The problem is : incompatibility between composite mode and vdpau API.
Temporary patch is :
I disable nvidia composite mode (sudo nvidia-xconfig --no-composite)
confirmed the segfault in lucid following the steps to reproduce (xvfb
2:1.7.6-2ubuntu7.10). I've also confirmed that the xvfb version i'm
using in oneiric does not have this issue (xvfb 2:1.10.4-1ubuntu4.2)

Indeed, I can confirm that with the recently released stable 295.20
driver version the problem went away and no more hangs are experienced
after resume and the desktop is immediately responsive.
Switching to the console and back also works fine, although there seems
to be one buglet left:

What driver version is this reported on?
There is a known bug in the driver that resulted in momentary hangs
during modeswitch for some FBO applications. It was fixed in the 295
timeframe. The first public driver with the fix was the 295.17 beta.
