xserver 1.10.4, which is what we're carrying in oneiric, so presumably
this issue is now fixed?
Likely this is worth backporting for natty as well which also has a
1.10.x xserver; maverick may be a more challenging backport sinc

qualifies for SRU but would be worth investigation at least.

I notice the upstream bug report is closed as 'not a bug' - IOW forcing
the dpi to 96 is by design. We were actually patching X to do the same
thing before they started doing it there as well, so this is not
something we're liable to want to change. Perhaps some better

I'm using three keyboard layouts in Kubuntu 11.10 that installed in following
order:
1) English (US);
2) Russian;
3) Ukrainian
I found that several keyboard combinations to switch layouts has issues
that makes working with system, especially with texts, very
uncomfortable. T
FWIW, after upgrading to oneiric, this segfault still occurs. However,
if I use xorg packages from debian/testing, the problem disappears. (am
using xserver-xorg 1:7.6+9, xserver-xorg-core 2:1.11.1.902-1, xserver-
xorg-input-evdev 1:2.6.0-2+b2, which are slightly newer than what
oneiric has but m

After the switch I found out that the desktop switcher was not correctly themed
(I don't know how to correctly say that, I hope the pictures could explain the
