Whenever I click the right mouse button, I get a "left click" instead.
If I click on a file in nautilus or any other graphical object, and
drag, I get a right click instead of dragging the object. So drag&drop
is not possible using the left mouse button. This is very annoying

NVidia proprietary drivers are really not compatible with libgl-mesa build
which is gl-enabled.
This is the issue.
Workaround:
I installed the latest cairo build from Oneiric official repos, that is a non
gl build (1.10.2-2ubuntu4).

the session settings manager can try starting before the login screen
one
Because of the continuing mem issues with gl enabled cairo and nvidia drivers,
on a 1GB install I use the current 11.10 cairo source re-built without gl
support.
In this install there are no closing issues with synaptic, gnome-terminal ect.
with the new nvidia drivers.

A recent update upgraded my -lowlatency kernel to 3.0.0-7. This resulted
in dkms not being able to compile nvidia-current. The workaround shown
at http://nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=2463992 made it work
again.
