That's the definition of "kinetic" scrolling. The scroll has "momentum"
that persists after you stop the scrolling motion. You can hit the
issues outlined in the previous comments whenever you have kinetic
scrolling on. What should be happening is the toolkits should be
performing the momentum calc

I tested the new xserver-common 2:1.7.6-2ubuntu7.6 and it works
perfectly.
Steps
1) Compiled and (make-) installed xf86-input-wacom-0.10.10.
2) Restarted x-server: Stylus cursor wraps to zero
3) Activated lucid-proposed in update-manager and performed update
4) Restarted computer: Stylus cursor us
Just updated to latest natty packages. No joy for me (5810T). Same old
same old: Screen dims, then the screen freezes, except for the mouse
cursor. Machine is alive, as I can ssh in.

Xorg freeze or hung on intel 945GM/PM/GMS
I was talking to the guys and gals over in #ubuntu-x yesterday about 730099,
and it was suggested I try a non-ubuntu system and kernel.
So it reminded me, only a couple of weeks ago, I had debian sid, with a kernel
from debian experimental on my eeepc. And didnt have any gpu lockup errors.

I can't reproduce an error as this is happening straight away when screen is
connected.
Btw some speed of resolving issue :) i have managed to fix it by:
xinput set-int-prop "Elo TouchSystems, Inc. Elo TouchSystems 2700
IntelliTouch(r) USB Touchmonitor Interface" "Evdev Axis Inversion" 8
